General Tool Specialties is a "State of the Art" design and manufacturing company that specializes in producing custom injection molds and plastic product design with a reputation for taking on complex projects and delivering on time. General Tool was established in 1977 and is located in Hillsborough New Jersey with a customer base primary located in but not limited to NJ, NY, PA, CT, MD, IL.
All facets of the mold making process: Design, CNC machining, Gun Drilling, EDM, Polishing and Assembly are performed on the premises. This allows us to provide quick turn arounds and cost effective solutions.
General Tool Specialties is involved in all aspects of plastic product development from concept to reality. We can produce molds from ideas, sketches or any Cad data. We have the ability to revise and improve existing product design in order to provide moldability while still maintaining functionality.
We build a variety of molds and such as small MUD type, Aluminum POP Display type, Large Stainless Steel Molds with Hot Runner Systems, Stack Molds, Blow Molds and Extrusion Dies.
No project is too large, small or complex within the scope of our capacity. We also perform general machine shop services and have the ability to cnc machine and turn large steel and aluminum parts.
